Welcome to the Macau 4x4 Trek page.

Each year in January we travel with a group of ordinary kiwi families and their 4WDs on an adventure trip to some of the South Island of New Zealand's most spectacular 4x4 tracks. Steve Beston, who is very experienced in leading 4WD Treks, and I lead and host the treks. The 2006 trek was great, with lots of fun and adventure. 2007 Trek: We are taking registrations of interest for next year's annual Trek through the South Island. The trek will officially start on Monday 8th January 2007 leaving Wellington on one of Strait Shipping's car ferries usually on their 1pm departure. The trek will conclude on Friday 19th January with people returning on the early ferry on Saturday 20th January. We just need to know a little bit about you and your vehicle. If you could email us your details as follows we will send you a brochure and a registration / confirmation form. It would be helpful if you could email us the following information: Something like, "Hi Bill and Steve, we are interested in receiving more information about the 2007 trek.

Our Truck is: Make - Model - Year - Date of last full service - Intended tyres - Towing lugs fitted - winch electric fitted or power takeoff through gearbox - tow bar

We are : Name of the intended driver and passenger/s - contact number - address - mobile/s Will you be bringing any children if so names and ages please.

Our 4WD experience is: Fully experienced with X number of years 4WDing - Moderately experienced - no experience at all but willing.
