Fish points system:

Minimum qualifying length and points system for the following fish. (Note cms measured to to nearest cm backwards. So if fish is say 34.8cm then points apply for 34cms)

Snapper: 32cms - 30 points for the fish and 5 for each cm over the minimum

Kahawai: 35cms 30 points and 5 for every cms over the minimum

Trevally: 32cms - 30 points for the fish and 5 for every cm over the minimum

Gurnard: 30cms - 30 points for the fish and and 5 for every cm over the minimum

John Dory: 30cms - 50 points for the fish and 5 points for every cm over the minimum

Blue Cod: 33cms - 35 points of the fish and 5 points for every cm over the minimum

Barracouta: 150 points for the fish regardless of size. Just need the photo with member in it as well.

Kingfish: 75cms - 60 points for the fish and 5 points for every cm over the minimum

Porae: 32cms - 40 points for the fish and 5 points for every cm over the minimum

Parrot fish or granddaddy hapuku: 32cms - 35 points for the fish regardless of size.

Slimy mackeral: 30cms - 30 points for the fish and 5 points for every cm over the minimum

Yellowtail mackeral: 2 points each maximum 20 points.

maomao: 5 points each maximum 10.

Stingray: 200 points regardless of size, but must be released once photo has been taken. The fish doesn't need to leave the water as long as a photo taken with the member in the same photo.

Shark: 200 points for the fish regardless of size and must be released once photo is taken. the fish doesn't need to leave the water as long as a photo is taken with the member in the same photo.

Hapuku: 50cms - 60 points for the fish and 5 points for every cm over the minimum.
