Question: Whether to go fishing or not -  (But why wouldn’t you not want to?)

60 Points + – Yippee! lets go!

50 Points – OK lets give it a shot.

40 Points – Well…ask yourself this question: “Do I really want to go and try my luck when there’s a good possibility of my coming home with a wet bum and no fish? Might not though. it might be an excellent day"...yeah right.

So here’s the point system:

Will the wind and tide be in the same direction where I’ll be fishing?    15

Will I be fishing the last two hours of the tide?                                       15

Will the change of light coincide with the day’s ‘bite time”?                  15

Is it the first week of the new moon?                                                      15

Are the tide heights over 3m east coast or 3.5m west coast?                  15

Does the moon ride or set while I’m out there?                                      15

Is the barometer 1025 and steady or rising from 1020?                          10

Are the moon and tide phases in opposite directions?                             10

(Moon on the rise / outgoing tide Moon on the wane incoming tide)

Is the wind direction south?                                                          Deduct 10

Is the wind coming from the southeast?                                      Deduct 20
