The blog and Some of the highlights along the way

The Drury Tires 4x4 Treks begins on Cue TV Monday 22nd march at 8pm

Our small group of intrepid explorers taking in the view along the 'roof tops' of the world.
This is Bob the trek mechanic have a bit of trouble with a flat tyre coming down one of the hills.
Our small group camped up by the hut. The hut sleeps 14 people and has all the gear, cooker, pots and pans. plates KFS the lot. Even an outside bath. It has two longdrop dunnies.
Although we couldn't go down this track, there was a side track we went down instead. There were some real 4WD challenges on this track. What out this this episode on the tell. Our thanks to Bob on this one, his experience got us well in before we were beaten by a huge pine tree that had fallen across the track.
Here I am on the hill that you can see Farewell Spit from, about 15kms from Collingwood. The scenery along that coast is amazing really.

A very dangerous place when the tide to at it's peak.

The road into French Pass is interesting as you can see in the side of the hill.

Its time for lunch. We just found a shaded and reasonably flat piece of road and set up there.

I always like a latte at 3pm, doesn't matter what I'm doing its a latte at 3pm.

Linda has to capture the whole thing and that's no mean task. But she's an expert and she's excellent at what she does.
Yet another water crossing across a bouldery river bed.

All was safe and sound.

So see you on Cue TV Thursday 19th March at 8.30pm - They also repeat these shows and we'll give you those repeat times once we know.

Want to come next year, now's the time to book.

All the best: Bill and Linda
